Founded in Cleveland, Ohio, Henry Sherwin entered the paint industry when he invested in a paint distribution company.  Four years later, Henry and Edward Williams formed a partnership and started doing business as Sherwin, Williams, & Co. Today, Sherwin-Williams has over 61,000 employees, operates over 4,800 retail locations, and has an annual revenue of over 19 billion dollars.
