Allstate is a provider of insurance for many areas in the market including: auto, home, life, motorcycle, and more. The company was founded in 1931 as a part of the Sears, Roebuck and Company. The name "Allstate" started as a brand name for a line of tires in 1925. The name evolved when Sears applied it to a product line of auto insurance in 1931.
